A burial landscape more than a thousand years old.
More than a thousand monuments stand along the river, raised over burials between the third and sixteenth centuries.
The film is led by the site's guides, who are from the surrounding villages and hold interpretations that differ from the printed panels.
Both are presented. The community's account is not treated as folklore attached to an archaeological fact.
