A pirogue journey hosted by a fishing community.
This is a working boat, not a tour boat. You go out with the family, and you come back when they do. The route passes the ferry crossing and two fishing camps, with mangroves on both banks.
The experience is hosted by a fishing household in Kuntaur, a river town in the Central River Region. You join the evening run, help with the nets if you wish, and return as the sun sets over the water.
Bookings are handled by the community association, and the fee stays with the household hosting. It is a small, low-impact way to spend time on the river with the people who know it best.
